Founded in 2000 as an engineering design consultancy by husband-and-wife Fraser and Sheila Dunphy, Finesse Control Systems has grown to now deliver leading technological solutions for a range of industries across the globe.
What started as a team of two, grew to a team of 18 by 2020 when ownership of the firm was transferred to an Employee Ownership Trust, making it a majority employee-owned company. The team continues to grow with 22 Employees in 2022.
Today we provide specialist industrial automation, hardware & software, design and development services - both for development of customer products and for automation within factory manufacturing and process systems.
Finesse also provides efficient subcontract manufacture of control panels and automation systems in use across a range of industries, environments and product designs.

The branch in Blantyre, Malawi was set up in 2015 prompted by an involvement that our directors have with an orphan care charity – The Dalitso Project – in Malawi and also following a trade mission to East Africa in 2014 organised by SDI.
