Employee Ownership Trust

Our Journey with Employee Ownership

In 2020, Finesse Control Systems Ltd took a significant step in its evolution by becoming an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). This decision reflected our long-standing belief that the people who contribute to the success of the business should share in its future.
Since transitioning to employee ownership, the company has continued to grow from strength to strength. The EOT structure has reinforced a culture of shared responsibility, collaboration, and long-term thinking, ensuring decisions are made with the sustainability of the business and the interests of our employees at their core.
Employee ownership has had a positive and lasting impact on our team. It has increased engagement, strengthened accountability, and encouraged employees to take an active role in shaping the direction of the business. Ideas are welcomed, collaboration is embedded, and success is shared.
At the beginning of 2025, a four-day working week was introduced, driven by a commitment to improving work–life balance and employee wellbeing. This change reflects how employee ownership enables meaningful initiatives that support both our people and the long-term performance of the business.
Our culture is underpinned by clear values of honesty, respect, and integrity. These values guide how we work with one another, how we engage with customers and partners, and how decisions are made across the organisation.
Now, over 25 years since the company was founded, employee ownership is central to who we are and how we operate. It supports a positive, inclusive working environment, strengthens long-term stability, and ensures Finesse Control Systems Ltd remains independent, resilient, and well-positioned for continued success.
