Site wide Upgrade to process control system, initiated on the back of the need for energy efficiency improvement upgrades, including a new boiler, hot water & air handling system. The site identified an issue with obsolescence of their PLC controls and SCADA system resulting in a need to replace these in order to facilitate the upgrade.

Finesse won the contract for the full PLC & SCADA system for the new systems as well as integrating an upgrade to all the PLC & SCADA systems on the plant.

This has involved electrical power & control systems design as well as PLC & SCADA Software Development with considerably complex project management, planning and implementing a phased installation and migration program as the various parts of the plant continue to operate and  minimising down time and losses whilst the major control systems infrastructure is replaced.
