Foodmek a specialist in design and manufacture of stainless-steel equipment for the food manufacturing industry, had a contract to deliver a complete high speed automated jar filling line for a pickling process. 

The system Including depalletizing, sorting and delivery of jars, conveyor systems, filling station, lid application, labelling, buffering & packaging stations. 

Finesse was subcontracted to design hardware, develop software, and supply the control system. This was designed on a modular basis with each station having its own PLC communicating over an ethernet based network protocol to various HMI operator stations, integrating quality control instrumentation, safety stop and guard interlocks.
